Why am I attracted to the study and practise of Aikido?

There may be several answers to this including... connecting with people, fitness, flexibility, self defence, health, a spiritual path, etc.

What did the founder want me to know about Aikido?

One of Morihei Ueshiba's aims for Aikido was world peace. He believed that partner training would teach us to remove selfish desires and live our lives helping other people to experience harmony in their lives.

What are the key principles that will speed up my ability to learn?

There are many important principles that are part of the basic Aikido techniques that you may practise. But, it is very useful to separate the principles from the techniques in order to study them in a lot more detail.

In fact, much of my teaching is done this way, as I have found that students learn much faster and quickly improve their techniques!

I have been studying health for over 30 years, and have analyzed hundreds of different systems of healing. After looking at all of the complex differences between them, I begun to notice the things that were the same, and have found a few key elements.

In fact, I have collected several important principles that run through all systems of healing. These are the power principles that can and will change your health and life for the better... if you use them!

I'm sure you are aware that knowledge is power, but only if it is used in a practical way, which gives valuable experience and true understanding.

If the info stays in your head, it is worthless, so you must find a way of using it in your daily life if you want to make positive changes.

So, what are the key principles that run through all health systems?

Well, there just isn't enough time and space to cover them here. But, one of the most important factors is to look at health in a holistic way. This means that you think about all of the aspects that make up a healthy human being.

Actually, in my opinion there are just 7 key areas to work on, and each one can make powerful changes on their own. But, if you use all of them together in a holistic way, you can supercharge your energy levels and create real health in your life.
