Budo - Teachings of the Founder of Aikido
By Master Morihei Ueshiba O'Sensei

Budo outlines the teachings and techniques of the founding master of aikido, written in 1938 but unpublished in English for many years.

It contains 132 pages with 440 black and white photos, and an introductory chapter chronicling Ueshiba's life and times by his son, Kisshomaru Ueshiba.

Morihei Ueshiba's own words and photos. It should be the first book all practitioners of aikido should have in their collection. An invaluable guide to the spiritual depths of the arts.

The founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba preferred teaching his students directly and left few writings regarding his martial arts philosophy.

The essays compiled in this book contain quotes from the Founder, as well as personal interpretations of the Founders teachings by the author... one of my personal favourites!
