Emotions Are a Key to Real Health!

How you feel about your life can make a massive difference to your health and well-being. Every event that comes up in your life creates feelings and thoughts, but problems arise when they are repetitive and associated with past experiences.

By learning how to release your feelings, as they come up, you'll become more relaxed and at ease. This will greatly boost your energy levels and help to improve your health.

In today's society, many people have unfortunately learned from an early age to block, suppress or deny their feelings, but we cannot escape from our emotions however hard we try to resist them.

We will experience them either as they come up or distorted and more painful in the future. Unexpressed or suppressed emotional energy becomes toxic and surfaces as illness or dis-ease.

THe 5 basic emotions from which all others originate are fear, anger, sadness, joy, and compassion. These are the sensations and feelings we experience as we structure our thoughts and our perspective or point-of-view is shaped by our experiences.

Doubt is one of the most powerful blocks to success. The process of creation of an idea through to its realisation in material terms must include confidence and total belief on the outcome.

Fear helps identify and deal with threats as they occur, but can lead to a general paranoia and chronic mistrust of people.

Unexpressed fear tends to tense the muscles of the jaw, neck, lower back and raises the shoulders, which creates tension.

Anger is a reaction that protects us when we feel personal boundaries have been crossed. It's a way to say 'NO' to an injustice or violation. Repressed anger leads to violence, crime, war etc.

The physical signs can be seen everywhere... tense jaws, clenched fists, stiff backs, raised voices and blazing eyes.

Sadness occurs when our expectations are not fullfilled, and it hurts because it implies letting go of something we are attached to and the sense of loss that we have to live with.

Outward signs include... long face, hunched back, slumped shoulders, feet dragging on the ground, low energy etc.

Joy is an expansive energy that makes the eyes shine and puts a spring in our step. When we experience joy we are relaxed and happy to go with the flow of life.

It comes to us when our emotional energy is free to react appropriately to experiences we encounter. Joy cures, strengthens and restores confidence in what our inner life should be.

Compassion is being able to feel what another person is feeling while remaining sufficiently detached to understand their needs and to know what to say and do. What they need and what they want are not always the same thing.

Studies have shown that being kind to others has definite physiological advantages. Gestures that come from deep within the heart are a tonic and natural form of release for the body.

Singing is a simple and immediate way of releasing the flow of emotions. Hum freely and deeply allowing the sound to rise from the pit of your stomach... feel it vibrating throughout your body and allow old 'negative emotions' to be released and dispersed.

This is just one of 6 Key Tools to reach Optimum Health. Remember that... Action is the KEY to Your Success :)
